Consumer scams and the transgender community

This is a work in progress.

Our community can be a scam artist's dream. We are often facing difficult financial decisions with limited funds, and some of us are also faced with being unemployed, underemployed, and sometimes on disability or public assistance. In addition, many of us are not out or in the process of transition, and can't afford to come forward for both financial and personal reasons when we are ripped off.

There are plenty of people out there who have no problem preying on your desperation and selling false hope in the form of products that don't do what they claim, or ways to make money that are just scams.

One of the most frustrating things is that there are even some women in our community who gouge us with high prices or even sell scam products, sometimes unwittingly.

I have also submitted information to the US Food and Drug Administration, the US Federal Trade Commission, The Better Business Bureau, various states attorneys general. One of the main goals is to help everyone make informed purchasing decisions, so that you can make the most of limited resources and not waste time or money.

Remember, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

 Hormone scams

There was a time not long ago when most women in our community got their hormones on the street via the black market. These were often marked up to exorbitant prices, cut with who knows what, or injected in unsafe ways.

Herbal products ("phytoestrogens") with little or no published data indicating safety or effectiveness should be avoided.

Overseas pharmacy scams have popped up all over the internet and in your email box. Spammers have inundated this category, making it even harder to find legitimate places, though there are a few that stay ahead of regulators and customs officials. Even with the legitimate places, you are better off getting a prescription here and doing everything under medical supervision.

Hair removal scams

I cover these extensively on hairfacts and hairtell, and I have a list of recommended practitioners for you to do further research.

If it's painless, it's not permanent, and vice versa.

Many home use lasers are scams to avoid. Only use devices cleared by FDA. At this time, these devices do not deliver permanent results.

The only available method for removing hair permanently at home is a used professional electrolysis unit or a home-use device that allows a metal probe to be inserted in the hair follicle.

Pretty much anything sold on eBay or other online auction sites will not work as claimed.

Credit scams

These seek to repair or partition bad or nonexistent credit, and are sometimes illegal. There are legitimate consumer credit counseling places that can help you restructure your debt, but they will not ask for a big fee up front. Beware of credit card offers that look like they have a good rate, but charge huge monthly fees or processing charges.

Employment scams

Be careful of work-at-home plans or jobs that require you to send them money in order to start.

Many people in our community have a hard time interviewing when in the midst of transition, so they find themselves with jobs that don't involve direct contact, like telemarketing or web-based marketing. Many of these companies are not very reputable, so be sure you understand how you will get paid.

    Multilevel marketing (MLM)

            Tips to avoid pyramid schemes

  •         Avoid any plan that offers commissions to recruit new distributors.
  •         Beware of plans that ask you to spend money on costly inventory.
  •         Be cautious of claims that you will make money by recruiting new members instead of on sales you make yourself.
  •         Beware of promises about high profits or claims about "miracle" products.
  •         Be cautious about references; they could be "shills" by the promoter.
  •         Don’t pay money or sign contracts in a high-pressure situation.
  •         Check out all offers with your local Better Business Bureau and state Attorney General.

#Transgender: #Transexual Dating Site Scams To Avoid #transvestite

Dating scam alert! Don’t get fooled by these tricks on transsexual hookup sites…

You’re probably here at because you love transexuals (as the name implies), and maybe you’re looking to actually meet a local TS for dating, a hookup, or an ongoing relationship. While TS dating sites make a lot of promises about how easy it is to meet someone, the truth is the online dating landscape is littered with land mines! While it’s entirely possible to find someone, especially at more reputable sites like, a little bit of insider know-how on scams to watch out for can make this a lot easier and more enjoyable.

This is a post entitled Avoid Scammers on TS Dating Sites that contains a lot of good information for avoiding pitfalls on any kind of personals site. You should definitely read that one as well, but here I’m going to lay out the top three scams that are more specific to transexual hookup sites. If you DO encounter any of the following, don’t let it ruin your experience or turn you off of online dating. Just click onto the next profile! There are many genuine transwomen looking for love and excitement online.

Beware Of Escorts Posing As Your Next TS Girlfriend
This is most rampant on the free trans dating sites. Indeed some of those free sites are basically just escort directories that sort of look like a dating site. If you’re cool with hooking up with an escort that’s cool and I’m not here to judge. But if you’re looking for a transwoman to go on actual dates with or find an ongoing relationship that you don’t have to pay for, then be wary of the members who are posing as something they’re not. Even on the paid sites there will be women simply pretending they want to be your girlfriend but those sites are better at removing such profiles. Go in with your eyes open.

Asking You For Money? You’re Not That Gullible!
Once you’ve taken care of your monthly subscription fee, you don’t need to send money to anyone, for anything. These types of money scams can occur on any hookup site but there’s a good reason that you may encounter them more on a TS dating site. A lot of these members may be in the process of transitioning which means they may have a lot of expenses such as hormone therapy and/or surgeries, in addition to the other things that all women spend a lot of money on such as clothing and makeup. I’m not implying that everyone is going to be hitting you up for cash, BUT if someone asks you for money so that they can fly to where you are, take time off work to see you, or some other kind of sob story, just say NO. I guarantee you – the woman who asks you for money on a dating site before you’ve ever met… you are NEVER going to see her in person.

She Wants To Talk… On Another Site
The final scam I’m going to tell you about is the dating-profile-as-traffic-funnel! What the hell is that? Pretty simple. You’ve probably seen these Shemale Cam sites, right? Well, sometimes one of the models, or someone just promoting the cam site, will create a profile on a dating site. They do this so that when a guy sends them a message because he’s interested, she can say something like, “hey, why not come watch me on my cam at”, or “I’d love to chat some more but we have to do it at this other site…”. I’m sure they have more convincing lines than that, but you get the point. If someone is using their dating profile as a means to have you sign up somewhere else then the outcome is the exact same as above – you’re spending money you don’t need to AND you will never actually meet them in person, no matter what they say to the contrary.

Got all that? Now, don’t let what I’ve written above stop you from pursuing your desire to try a TS dating site! Remember that these types of scammers are a small exception to all the real, available women you are going to meet. Stay safe and have fun!

#Feminization #Spanking My New #sissyboy Male Slave #BDSM

Listen to my audio here.
I take a very hands on approach to the training of a male sex slave.
Men are unruly little boys at heart… and bad boys do need spanking.
A woman’s long leather glove leaves such a lovely imprint on a bare male ass.

With this in mind I decided to record the following femdom audio. The subject of male spanking is an amusing one to me, so this serves as more than just an introduction to those of you wishing to submit… it also puts a nasty good smile on my face -

#Transsexual, #transgender, #transvestite and #cross-dresser? Difference?

What’s the difference between transsexual, transgender, transvestite and cross-dresser?

I am pleased to introduce our guest contributor, Diane.  Please welcome her and submit any questions regarding Trans issues that you would like her to answer.

This is a wonderful question and like all questions about labels, it can have various answers all depending on the individual and the circumstances. I personally am not a big fan of labels, since they tend to pigeon hole people into a group without a care for their individualism. On the other hand, labels help get conversation started and that is always a good thing.  So here goes my take on the definitions.
As our society grows and matures, so do our definitions.
Transsexual (also can be spelled transexual) is the medical term for a person who has changed their physical gender to their desired target gender. So in my case, I changed my gender from male to a female (MtF). This is also true of a female to male (FtM) as well. A transsexual lives fulltime in their new gender and usually has had some sort of reassignment surgery changing their physical appearance and/or hormone replacement.  In the strictest sense, a transsexual is a person who has had surgery to change their physical appearance to match their target gender and live fulltime as this gender.  Some transsexuals move into society and live solely as their target gender and identify as only male or only female.

Now, transgender is a more general term and has been widely accepted as politically correct; only really because transsexual has had such a negative stigma associated with it from the 70’s (and beyond).  Maybe this is why I tend to call myself a transgendered woman, or for short a transwoman. Though transgender can refer to any person that dabbles in the binary male/female roles opposite to their birth gender.  This is the more common definition of transgender and the umbrella it covers.

I’m going to put both transvestite and cross-dresser together for simplicity. Transvestites and cross-dressers are typically heterosexual males who wear traditionally feminine clothing. Transvestite has been labeled in the past to associate cross-dressing with sexual arousal, but that term has changed to transvestic fetishism.
Cross-dressers don’t associate with the LGBTQ community and don’t see themselves as anything but straight/heterosexual.  Drag queens and drag kings are not usually labeled as cross-dressers/transvestites. Why? Good question, actually.  People that dress in drag tend to be gay and cross-dressers tend to be straight.
As with all labels, nothing is black and white and there is plenty of gray area.  One person might identify as transgender but not as transsexual; another as cross-dresser and not transvestite.  There are also people who don’t identify as any gender.  They are genderqueer and don’t feel part of the society norm of binary gender (male or female) and the stereotypes associated with each gender.  I like to think of genderqueer as “gender free”; free of all gender labels and gender stereotypes, including clothes, roles and any society gender conformity.

I hope I helped answer the challenging definitions of labels.  As always, keep those questions coming!

#Transwoman: #Transgender, Body Language Mistakes that Can Ruin Your #Feminine #Mystique

Transwoman: Body Language Mistakes to avoid

Did you know that body language accounts for more than 50% of the impression you make on people?
That’s a big part of your feminine image!
Body language consists of four things:
  1. Posture
  2. Gestures
  3. Eye contact
  4. Facial expressions
Unfortunately, it’s easy to develop bad body language habits that can ruin your feminine image… or at the very least, make you look less poised and polished than you want to be.

Here are actions that should be avoided when presenting yourself as a woman:
  • Slouching
  • Biting your nails
  • Compulsively checking your phone
  • Rummaging through your purse
  • Crossing your arms
  • Fidgeting
  • Shaking your leg or tapping your fingers
  • Not smiling
  • Scanning the room when you talk to people
  • Talking too much with your hands
  • Exaggerated nodding
  • Examining your teeth or complexion in public
  • Applying makeup in public (other than a quick swipe of lipstick)
  • Resting your chin on your hands and elbows
  • Sitting with your legs apart
  • Clanging your silverware

  • Avoiding eye contact
  • Eye contact that is too intense
  • Weak handshake
  • Clenching your fists
  • Standing too close to people
  • Chewing loudly
  • Talking while you eat
  • Eating or drinking too fast
  • Bending towards your food instead of bringing the food to your mouth
  • Leaning forward too much
  • Leaning back too much

Are you making any of these mistakes? If so, don’t feel bad. (I myself am guilty of checking my phone too often!) Instead, resolve to improve them.

For fun, do a “body language study” the next time you’re out in public. Notice the subtle actions that enhance or detract from people’s images.
Can you think of any other habits that should be added to this list?
As always, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Please share in the comments below.

#Anal Foreplay Tips for Beginners #transwoman, #transgender, #transsexual

But (BUTT! Ugh, sorry), if you want to experiment in that general area, here are some things to know about Base Camp 1, which consists of the stepping stones to anal sex: Fingers (...  Extronet/Translesian

#1 It's NOT Dirty!
Anal always get's the bad wrap, but understand first and foremost, that is not dirty or disgusting when it's happening between two consensual partners.

#2 It Shouldn't Hurt.
Anal sex is not for everybody, but for those consensual couple who wish to try it, it's important to use plenty of lube and understand that no matter what happens, it shouldn't hurt! Relax your muscles, breathe and use a lot of water-based lubricant.

#3 Take it Slow
In case you didn't know it, real sex isn't like a porno. Save the fast stuff for fantasy (or at least until the two of you are comfortable and fully prepared for something a little rougher

#4 Enjoy Additional Stimulation
If you're trying anal, you probably already know what else you like. Be it clitoral, nipple-centric or whatever kind of additional stimulation, it really adds something to the overall experience.

#5 Keep it Clean
Butt play can be a lot of fun, but remember that anything done with the anus should be cleaned before trying to enter the vagina. Going from one to the other can cause infections and nobody wants that!

#6 It's Okay Not to Like It
"Assuming you have a considerate lover who's invested in you feeling good, I think you'd know within the first five times whether you like it or not," says Kerner, explaining that this depends on a variety of factors. "I've encountered women who hated receiving oral sex initially but love it now, and it was because they were self-conscious. It depends on your levels of inhibition, your feelings about your partner, your feelings about your body. If all these things are good to go, and you just don't like the sensation, you'll know pretty fast." Bottom line, if you don't like this, don't keep doing it. Your partner will understand if they're respectful and loving.

#7 You're Perfect As You Are!
Don't think you need to wax down there or get something bleached, or whatever weird thing the pornos make ladies believe. If you're nervous about preparation, just make sure you've used the restroom and showered before engaging in anal.

Hi all, time for some real talk about what makes us sexy.
What is needed is the straight facts about what they do, what they don't do and how to apply the therapy.

What hormones do is increase the level of estrogen in your body and lower the amount of testosterone. This is what has the feminizing effect. The amount of feminization is genetic. Look at your mom and sisters. You will never get more feminine than them. Hormones also do not affect bone structure, so your hands, face bones and feet will not change. Your face will get softer and you will get curvacious and your breasts will grow.

Hormone therapy induces basically a second puberty. It takes about as long as the first one! Hormones do not work right away, they work over time. Hormones induce side effects similar to that of a woman at the height of her period. The estrogen levels are the same. You will feel irritable at times, lose your sex drive once in a while and generally feel bitchy, especially if you get shots. The effects of the shot are more dramatic. If you are on pills, the dose is lower and the effects are not as pronounced. You get used to the changes as time goes on and it becomes routine and normal to you

There are studies that say there is no correlation between hormone therapy and sex drive. Well, from personal observation, if I get a hormone shot, I will not feel like having sex for several days and it doesn't get hard for a day or two either! Trust me, you feel like crap for a little while after taking hormones, but it does go away after a day or two. You want to be a woman, women have periods so here is your solidarity with genetic females, you get to be bitchy and feel like crap at least once a month!

You have to take hormones as the doctor prescribed them! I know girls who take 6 or 7 pills at a time to speed up the effects. Hormones do not work that way. They need to be taken over time and build up in the body. What happens when you overdose, is you feel like crap, are unable to function for two days and there is no accelerated effect. The extra hormone just get flushed out of the body! Waste of time and money. Hormones are not instant girl medicine, as I have said they take time!

I use premarin as it is the best for producing the effects for me, but there are other kinds. Premarin has more pronounced side effects initially, so you have to get used to it. I like the shots because you don't have to worry about a pill regimen. Where I live shots are easy to get but in some places they are not available.

I have a prescription so I can obtain hormones legally. I also take the pills sometimes especially when I travel. I have purposely not listed here dosages and pill regimens. What works for me may not work for you! Some T-Girls should not take them at all if they health problems.

#Transgender Dating? #transwoman #Transsexual #caitlyn

It’s a brave new world: gay marriage is legal and transgender women are everywhere. This latter circumstance creates new issues for some straight guys. What do you do - if you suspect a girl you recently met and started dating might be transgender?

This occurs quite often. Commonly? It begins from social interaction at a popular tavern - since most full-time transsexual women rarely frequent gay bars. You probably already encountered lots of transsexual women

In order to survive and succeed in their new life, transgender women work tirelessly to become near flawless in their feminine presentation. Some transgender women face huge obstacles in this regard: they start out extra tall or with noticeably oversized male features. In those examples? Strangers usually quickly surmise she used to be a man. However, for trans-women without such initial handicaps? You would never know without further or constant scrutiny. Thus, most people don’t realize how often they already encountered transsexual women - particularly in larger metropolitan cities.

What makes you think she might be transgender?

What causes a guy to think his new object of desire
might be trans? There’s only one tell-tale feature: an Adam’s Apple - but transgender women can get this surgically crushed and removed. There’s often noticeable differences: larger hands, larger feet, a deeper voice, more masculine mannerisms, etc. Such variations don’t necessarily mean she’s transgender - more than one of my lady friends was wrongly accused of just that because of her more masculine platform. She’ll most likely “just walk away”

If a TS woman met and liked you at crowded nightclub? She was probably immediately looking for signs you already realized she was transsexual. However, it’s unlikely she’ll disclose this in a bar for fear you might out her to other patrons in a derogatory manner.

Most often?

If you met and chatted with a transsexual at a bar and she
wasn’t confident you “knew”? She’d rarely provide you further contact information because she just doesn’t want the potential hassle. She’ll usually just “walk away”. However, sometimes? If the connection you shared seemed extraordinary? She might take that chance.

Even more commonly?

You saw and talked with her
before during a previous visit to this new favorite watering hole. When you saw her again? You did your best to further develop the budding relationship: perhaps offering lunch or dinner. Most transgender women will try to tell you before a solo date or shortly thereafter. However, some post-operative transsexual women who lived in their preferred gender for decades rarely feel the need to disclose that information quickly. How do you get her to open up?

Offering her ideal windows during a first phone conversation makes it easier. “Tell me more about yourself…where are you from originally - what was your childhood like?
Don’t say things like: “Is there something you need to tell me?” She’s a mature adult who endured a mind-bogglingly difficult journey. You’re not the first guy whom she had to share this - please give her a chance to do it her way.Don’t call her “he”

If she discloses that she’s transgender and it’s not something your comfortable with in your dating life? Whatever you do -
please don’t subsequently refer to her as he - when you encounter her again. The transgender equivalent of the N-word is the “mean he” - where somebody uses this masculine pronoun as a weapon to publicly out or demean a transgender person.

It’s one of the cruelest things you can say: thus,
please don’t!

What’s a gay dude that looks like a chick doing in here hitting on us straight guys?
Some guys who unwittingly connect with a transsexual woman - however briefly - are offended. In their eyes? She’s somehow trying to trick them. Alas, usually all she did was show up at a fun social atmosphere in the same look and gender she’s lived and worked for ten years and simply returned a friendly comment with a commensurate polite gesture. She’s not there to pull anything over on anybody: she’s just living her life.

Some uninformed people view transsexual women as the “the gayest form - of gay male.” Nothing could be
further from the truth. Transsexuality occurs from an issue with one’s gender identity - it’s got nothing to do with sexual orientation or homosexuality. In fact, most transsexual women were and continue to only be attracted to women. Also, gay men are never attracted to transgender women regardless of what she has “down below”.

the difference between gender identity and sexual orientation? Simply stated: Sexual orientation is about who you want to go to bed with, Gender identity is about who you want to go to bed as.

Thus, once she’s transitioned:
and if she likes men? She’s considered “straight” - in trans-world. If he prefers women? She’s now lesbian: duh!

Please don’t make a scene!
If you’re absolutely convinced - perhaps after a good friend told you she’s trans - and you’re troubled by this information? Don’t expect her to be honest in a bar filled with drunk patrons.

Why not just move on to another lady? There’s nothing gained by confronting her with negative commentary. Thankfully, most guys are naturally classy enough
not to do that. However, some men just can’t hold their tongues against any perceived slight.

Following is an actual letter from an insurance adjuster living in Marietta, GA named “Paul”. Would you guess from this personal introduction that he would subsequently
say mean-spirited things?Paul’s Facebook Personal Profile Summary
I'm a responsible homeowner with a good job and lots of good friends. I play drums and sing in a couple bands. I'm divorced as of about 4 years now. I kept the house and my dogs. My life is about as good right now as it's ever been. I’m a musician at heart, but have a day job to pay the bills. I love my dogs, golf, playing drums and singing in my band(s), biking, water activities, and just hanging out and doing nothing but chatting over some wine and snacks, or sitting on the porch watching the birds and the squirrels quarreling. I'm honest, up-front, sweet and trustworthy.

With the proliferation of transsexual pornography, a lot of guys are at least curious about exploring a sexual encounter with an attractive transgender woman. Believe me: she knows this from her lifelong experiences. However, those same journey’s also taught her that few straight guys will develop a meaningful relationship that includes association with his friends and family with a TS woman unless he has more than just sexual fascination. Thus, few transsexual women will go further - unless they think you’re hotter than melted butter.
Be sure - before you kick her to the curb

Some straight guys discover a transsexual girlfriend is far better than expected.

There’s more than one straight guy that now regrets letting go of his relationship with a transsexual female. “She was the most fun and amazing woman I ever dated. However, at that time - I wigged out over what my friends would think. I broke it off but after returning to dating typical women realized I
missed her. Tried reestablishing our relationship but she already found someone else. Thus, I tried looking on some trans-dating sites and soon realized how rare a girl like ‘Mary’ was. I never had that sort of chemistry with another woman in my life.” Realize: very passable and beautiful transsexual women that also prefer men? They’re rare - since most transsexuals fancy women.

If you subsequently change your mind? You probably won’t find another like her!

#Transsexual: How to Make #Love With the #Transwoman. #Transgendered

Seduction and teasing.

Why is this portion at the end rather than the beginning? Because by now you know what you can and can't do, what turns her on and what turns her off. Sex is an integral and wonderful part of most relationships, and if you're like me, you'll find opportunities to do hot little things to arouse her.

Write a very explicit note on a little piece of paper and tell her to put it in her bra and keep it there all day long. Believe me, because she can feel that note against her boob, she will be thinking about it (and your intentions) constantly for hours.

Or, maybe you're at a party. Maybe you're on a hike. Or in a dark movie theater. There are ways to tease her in such locations.

Perhaps you're in a big box home store looking in the lighting aisle. Get face to face with her, drape your arms over her shoulders and pull her close. Kiss her lightly on the neck then kiss her tenderly on the lips.

Should the others in the lighting aisle wander out of sight, run your fingers over her breasts and fondle them through the fabric. Lightly tweak her nipples. Run one hand down to her crotch and stroke to stimulate for a moment, regardless of what sort of genitals she has. See if you can get her to moan and her knees to buckle. Kiss her again and fondle her ass.

Then playfully swat that ass and say (as though it's her fault), "Come on, quit distracting me. We gotta choose a fucking floor lamp."

She might attack you when you get back to the car (keep an eye out for mall security). Or maybe she will wait until you get home and the garage door closes before attacking you. These are the sorts of attacks that men enjoy.

What to take on a hot date.

1. Condoms.
2. Lubricant.
3. Your STD/HIV test results document, if any.
4. Mouthwash.
5. An adventuresome spirit.

You can put most of that in a small "shaving kit." Put the adventuresome spirit between your ears.

Anal sex.

A certain TS lady friend wrote me: "Anal sex is my favorite.... When a man is in me...I can't get enough. Feeling his taut penis stretch me, then throbbing with a glowing wet orgasm is like a gourmet meal. It makes me feel so warm, cared for, and safe."

It's a good idea for the lady to hit the bathroom first and also douche, to assure that the lower colon is empty and clean.

Use a quality lubricant. Make sure the head and shaft are well lubricated. Even if you're using a lubricated condom, add more lube to the outside surface.

Penetrate slowly. Let her sphincter muscle open and get accustomed to the size of your penis. Push until the head has opened her ass hole and then stop. Give her a minute or two to get accustomed to its size.

Begin fucking slowly then increase the tempo as appropriate.

An uncircumcised ("uncut") cock is a potential advantage in unprotected anal sex. A good part of the back-and-forth movement will occur within the sheath, not against her opening, thus reducing wear and tear.
Have fun and good luck!
