Facial hair stubble: I can’t begin to describe the pain, cost and time associated with facial hair removal for most transsexual women. Electrolysis is a brutal process: comparable to having a bee sting you lip. Now, imagine that bee sting occurring for two hours straight, three days a week - for two years. And yes - you’re swollen from those stings each day after treatment. Even after completing a thorough run of electro - many transsexual women still have some residual facial hair stubble. It doesn’t show outwardly - which is why its not worth going back through the anguish of more electrolysis. However, when you kiss her passionately? You might feel it.


Body hair stubble: Years of HRT therapy and/or an orchiectomy or GRS plus a thorough shaving usually creates a very smooth body for a TS woman. What can I do to help myself?
You have several options, yet the first is to gain willpower to take control of your body. The next step is to start eating the right foods, getting some exercise and so on. If you can exercise like you want to that is great, take it slow and do a little at a time. Do not overdo it. If you over work your body, the body will let you know. Obesity prevents many from staying active. A persons emotions and mental state is affected by obesity, since you start thinking I don't want to do anything. You have to do something. Get out of the house and take in a movie. Perhaps you could visit some friends that you haven't seen in awhile. The more active you are, you will start feeling better about you and maybe you will lose some weight. You need to go see your family doctor to see if its ok to do this before you start. Your family doctor may give you a diet to go by and maybe recommend the exercises that will benefit you. 




What should I eat?
I cannot tell you what to eat. I can however give you a few pointers. Instead of frying your food, bake it. Baking meats, veggies, etc will help cutback grease. Baking will help drain the fat out of the food rather than if you fried the food. Fried foods mean fat, fat, fat and can harm your heart. Eat three times a day breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Eat plenty of raw vegetables, and salads. If you enjoy chocolates or sweets, find substitutes. Yogurts may offer you a new taste as well as reduce your risks, especially if you choose the fat-free groups. Try to stay away from fast foods. Fast food has obesity written all over its menu. Heart attacks follow. If you enjoy dining out, then find family owned restaurants, since the family will serve you healthier dishes. When you sit down to eat at home, avoid eating in front of the television. You should avoid seconds as well.  

Being over weight is hard on you both mentally and physical. If you have, will power then try to lose weight? Start out by taking it slow. Don't go hog wild since it will only make your heart race. You need to learn your limits to help you lose weight and take control of your health. If you find it still too hard to lose weight then maybe you should see if there is a local support group around so that you can join it and get the support that you need. You might want to stay away from people that do not give you support. You will need lifted up not let down.  

Living Healthy and Long while Aging Longevity

Exercise has proven to keep a body fit. Exercise helps them to live a long productive life. As we grow older, the bodily functions decline. If a person fails to stay active in their lifetime, the aging process speeds up full force ahead. If you work out when you are young, you will feel good for a long time to come. 

Exercise should include cardiovascular workouts. Aerobics is a great workout that helps you to work the heart. The workout will increase your heart rate as well as pump your blood so that it flows smoothly to the heart. You will also need to build strength to prevent injured joints. You may enjoy weightlifting to achieve a resistance workout. 

Studies have shown that those working out with weights can live a long and productive life. Experts conducted a study while dividing three clusters of men, which one group had a higher resistance since they lifted weights. The second group failed, as did the third grouping of men, since these people had little activities going in their life. The cluster of men where asked to walk a great distances and at a particular length. During the study experts found that those who worked out had lower cholesterol levels. Those who did not workout had a higher level of cholesterol. According to the experts and study results resistance workout can enforce freedom of blood flow and increasing improvement of overall strength. 

Weightlifting has proven to boost metabolism, which gives person energy. In addition, the workouts will strengthen the muscles and provide you with the will to carry on through life while enjoying endurance. Those who fail to workout should be alert that the density of bones decrease. Once the bones density decreases the blood will slowly channel to the heart, which puts you at risk of heart disease. 

Weightlifting has proven to decline the risks of high cholesterol. In addition, working out will slow the aging process. When weightlifting however, one should go at their own pace. It is unwise to lift more weights that you can handle. If you are working toward resistance, keep the weights low and the repetitions up. Repetitions on low-density weight scales will suffice, unless you plan to become the next bodybuilder. When working out you should have someone with you in the event the weights are too strong. Having support at your side will protect you from injuries.  


Dieting to live a healthy aging life: 
When aging begins in our youth, we start to lose fibers, vitamins, and other nutrients. In addition, the dying cells increase while the living cells decrease. For these reason you, want to add supplements or vitamins to your daily diet. A person should incorporate at least 30 grams of healthy fibers in their diet daily. A pregnant woman who has been diagnosed with gestational diabetes is going to receive a lot of medical support in the form of frequent doctor appointments and nutritional
counseling. But she may also be in the need of emotional support. It is hard to change the way you eat and live your life when you are pregnant and adjusting to a new disease in addition to that can be overwhelming.

There are many forms of support you can seek out. The support from your spouse or partner is going to be very important. They cannot be eating an ice cream sundae in front of you while you are expected to abstain. Since eating like a diabetic is a healthy lifestyle change, you both should follow the diet set forth for you keeping in mind the extra caloric needs of different people.

Joining a group of pregnant women is helpful too.You can go through your pregnancies together and when your babies are born you can continue with your support network as
your children grow up together. Touch base with your endocrinologist to see if they know of a support group specifically for women with gestational diabetes.  You can share recipe tips and provide the emotional support needed as you ride the roller coaster of pregnancy with diabetes.

There are many online support groups too with a specialization in many different complications that can arise in pregnancy. Or join a support group for woman online
whose babies are due at the same time as yours. You may even meet someone online that lives in your neighborhood.

Don't feel that you have to deal with your diabetes on your own.  Help and support are available. If you can't find it readily with a little research you are sure to find what you need.

Why’s
that?

Simple: easy access to information via the internet. There was a ton of gals hidden by shame & ignorance before the connectivity of information. Add those to all the new, younger trans-women just arriving on the scene? Looks like a stampede at times.

The path is also easier thanks to the efforts of many pioneers. However, along with this easier way comes new problems.

Previously, there was the “Harry Benjamin Standards of Care” which outlined detailed steps that insured a person who identified as transgender followed a transition path that confirmed they would face no regrets later. These essential milestones assured we knew what we were doing & confirmed our resolution.

For all intents & purposes? Those qualifications are now mostly collecting dust.

You'd be hard pressed to find a trans-gal that can detail these important prerequisites: present company included. Thus, our’s is the new reality. Not saying its better or worse: just a fact. Thus, I’m not going to fight it - I'm here to help you manage it more successfully.

Why Do You Feel This Intense Need to Change Gender?

There's enough research to accurately determine that our need to express an alternative gender from the one we’re born is caused by varied degrees of masculinzation to the brain during our evolution in the womb.

Every mammal is first conceived female: it's the default gender. Every once and awhile the most complex organ on the body - the human brain - doesn’t successfully compete the light speed trek to its final gender. Thus, you end up with a male body being born with a female brain.

I will forever recall being in a transgender-based chat room when a gal announced to the room that she’d just started hormones.

The chat-comments were immediately awash with non-stop “congratulations” to this gal. However, I can promise if you said that to any trans-woman whose actually “completed” a successful transition? Her support would be slow. My response remains cautious: Are you
sure?
The reason I ask is that I can’t begin to tell you how difficult this will be and how much longer it takes to accomplish then most people realize.

Once you change physiologically - your sexual desires will dramatically decline. You will no longer seek a mirror or a crowd to validate your feelings. In fact, you often prefer to avoid mirrors like every other woman. 

If you're lucky enough and you fight hard enough...you just might end up looking pretty hot. Then...you finally get to play “Cinderella”…come strolling into a big event...dressed to the nines...looking hot - and nobody knows you’re transgender. That fantasy ever come to mind?
I know: we all shared that vision at one point along the way. However - it’s not a lot of fun if you finally accomplish it with no job or friends & family for loving support.

I did not become familiar with gestational diabetes until recently when my sister-in-law and my best friend were both diagnosed with it within a week. Many women I know, myself included, have made it through pregnancies without having any serious problems like gestational diabetes.

Basically, gestational diabetes is a disease that can come on during pregnancy but that usually disappears once the baby has been born. In some women, pregnancy results in their blood sugar levels getting out of balance. A pregnant woman might realize that she is having blood sugar problems on her own or it might take a doctor to determine that her levels are not normal. Regardless of how it is discovered, gestational diabetes is a serious issue that needs to be handled with caution and care throughout a woman’s pregnancy and after.


When my sister-in-law and my closest friend were struggling with feeling abnormally up and down during their pregnancies, their doctor took blood tests and determined that their blood sugar levels were being affected by their pregnancies and their food choices. They were both diagnosed simply by having this blood work done. At first they were hesitant and scared because gestational diabetes sounded huge and they didn’t know how relatively simple the treatment process could be.

Gestational diabetes, because it is primarily an imbalance of blood sugar, can often be regulated by changes in diet and levels of exercise. The amount of changes that are necessary are dependant upon how poor of habits the women have to begin with. My sister-in-law and my friend had to make different levels of changes to their diets, but neither had to make such significant changes that their lifestyle was radically altered. Mostly their changes consisted of going on a low-sugar and low-carb eating plan. Gestational diabetes brings a risk of the baby getting to large during its gestational period and needing to be delivered early or by c-section. The more the pregnant mother cuts down on sugar intake, the less likely it is that the baby will get too large to be delivered vaginally.



If you are pregnant or are thinking of becoming pregnant in the near future, take some time and learn about ways to prevent gestational diabetes. It is the best for you and your baby. Prevention is always a better option than having to find a solution to high blood sugar levels. Be wise with your food and exercise choices from the start and you should be able to avoid dealing with gestational diabetes in your pregnancies. Talk with your doctor and take every possible precaution.

I will briefly cover the nutritional aspect of this theory, and the rest will be aimed at the entertainment industry and how it's shaping the men of today.

First of all, what is GMO? GMO stands of genetically-modified organism.

Don't believe me? - there was study done on male rats. These rats were fed GMO foods. Although, the rats who ate the foods did not suffer any immediate effects, their offspring were shown to have diminished reproductive capabilities, and these traits were passed down to the proceeding generation, and a few generations later, the rats' reproductive systems were completely dysfunctional.

The entertainment industry has always been used to program the masses. The propaganda we see in the media is shaping not only our culture, but the very manner in which people conduct themselves. Today, manly men are promoted as barbaric, overly-aggressive and evil. Instead, we are taught that masculine traits include being sensitive and passive. The agenda is to feminize men, stripping them of all of the qualities that would cause a threat to the powers that be. We can expect more films coming out that portray men as pussies, and women as heroes and saviors.
The most obvious example I've seen is in the Korean male pop stars. You see how they behave, how they dress, and you'll have trouble figuring out what gender they are. I was huge fan of Korean pop, and I noticed that many pop groups would do their own mini drama shows, where a couple of the members were gay for each other... fans eat this up like crazy, and they adopt such behaviors without realizing it.
